I was conceived in the centre circle of Old Trafford, but born and raised in Essex — a northern mind in the body of a southerner.
My name is Daniel Cause, and I’ve been living in my imagination for as long as I can remember. While most of the boys at school were chasing a football around the playground, I was inventing stories and characters in my head. During quiet reading time, while others made excuses, I had my nose in a book — usually lost in the worlds of Goosebumps and Harry Potter.
Storytelling bit me early, and now it runs deep in my DNA. I’m a reading addict with the ambition of becoming a published author. So far, I’ve written eleven manuscripts and continue to edit, revise, and submit them to literary agents.
When I’m not reading or writing, I’m probably:
- Watching films (cinema addict)
- Playing Football Manager
- Or eating food that’s probably bad for me
